wwe's set- i am annoyed.

Hey guys once again here on impactwrestling.com. As always I am Damien here to talk to you about the up's and downs about professional wrestling today. As always this is an opinion and I would really like some feedback as this topic really bothers me. Enough rambling, let me continue.

I just really can't get over the new WWE HD Set. Now i know i will probably get bashed for this but I mean the set sucks. But it is a lot more than just a set to me. To me is symbolizes a difference in brands. When you think about it, WWE isn't separate anymore.I mean we have inter-brand feuds, TV taping, live events etc. This really is the only thing that separates Raw from SD to ECW.

Now I know you may be thinking this guy is fu##head. Why am I reading this? Well I just think that the tradition of competition between the 3 is gone. Everything is done together. No creative writers trying to do better than the other brand or anything. it's all friendly "Hey, oh yea I'll help you" you know? I may seem stupid but this just really annoys me.

And of course the sets really symbolizes the differences. If it weren't for the colours we wouldn't know which show we were watching? I just find it annoying I mean the Raw one was unique in it's own way, the SD one was amazing and really differenciated itself from the other and ECW was prettty cool and had that kind of EXTREME feel that was once there.

Am i fussing over nothing? I don't know please leave me comments, not to much bashing and thanks for reading,

I think it was during the Orton/Cena promo vid, where Cen returned to the Rumble that got me thinking about it.... because that PPV was are rare time where the entrance ramp was actually in the crowd... it was awesome. should be done more often!

The set is very fancy and expensive looking... but like you said they're all the fu##ing same! why did they have to change the old Smackdown set? with the big fist and tubed titan trons? that was cool as frozen cucumbers man!

has any1 slammed another wrestler into it?? i cant remember it happening...

which is shame.. cause i think it would have been cool expecaly on the abraham washington show to have Shamus/Bengain slam each other into the set instead of the weak arse part of them falling over the sofa... *YAWN*...

the old SD! set was totally awesome pocket :P

and most important of all the new set looks fu##ing terrible up close when sum1 stands on stage and cuts a promo.... seeing all the little round LEDs up that close is like looking at a picture from the newspaper.... cant sleep... dots will eat me.... cant sleep.... dots will eat me....

I always hated the Smackdown Fist set up. Don't know why. And I also hated the Raw set before they went to the HD set up. So I'm happy that they changed both...and I am happy with the changes.

come on... its an hd set. what more do you want? the sets do not symbolize difference in brands. i agree with rkan, i hated the smackdown fist, probably because it was lame, but I have no issue with it now. Its a set... and the colors symbolize difference more than anything.
