The popular answer probably is going to be Cena, while as he isn't the worst in the world, he is amongst the most boring. You talk about Batista being the same every week Cena is amongst the most predictable. From what I have scene Warrior's promos were awesome, they added to the mysticism of his character and even if the man was totally insane they did give you the impression of extreme energy the character was all about. My personal pick for the worst quote ever from a wrestler was from Koko B.Ware "Sometimes love feels like an argument,
it feels just like a piledriver" I know it was from a entrance theme, but any entrance theme that talks about love let alone compares it to the piledriver, is the height of stupidity.

IRAN SHEIK NUMBER VON AMERICA ACH PTOOEY...absolute gold given the climate of the early 80's, how does one really spell someone spitting, anyway
Forgot to answer the damn question. Hard to pick just 1 worst, guess I'd go with Scott Steiner though. Some of his were legitimately painful to watch, I almost had to feel bad for him at some point. Either he had too many ideas going through his head at one time, or absolutely nothing, I couldn't say for sure.

I'd hate to admit it, but The Ultimate Warrior was great on the mic. As an adult you realize it didn't make any sense whatsoever, but as a kid I loved it... and if you can get cheers after saying things like that, then you must be doing something right.
Scott Steiner is pretty awful on the mic. His constant butchering of the english language is pretty sad... Didn't this guy go the University of Michigan? I remember him pronouncing sympathy as sympy... and he didn't do it once, it happened twice!

Batista was pretty bad with those fake laughs but he perfected it by getting injured and returning all the time.
Matt Hardy has little to no mic skills. He was only good with the whole Mattitude thing. Now when he cuts a promo it always seems like hes trying so hard. Seems like the fans are just clapping for him because hes trying. Its like cheering for a retarded kid playing the trumpet. You cheer even tho its pretty sad.

Nice work my good friend. Sorry about late reply.
Well there have definitely been some bad promos at best. I think I would have to agree with you that Teddy is the worst right now in wwe but in the past, honestly, how could anyone go past Mike Adamle.
This guy botched everything. Enough Said.

You guys are crazy...Scott Steiner interviews are hilarious..he purposely sounds like that to get a rise from the crowd...he started his own catch phases...Holla if ya hear me!!!.."This is to all my freaks out there".."Big Bad Booty Daddy"..During the NWO years it was almost as popular as Scott halls's "Hey Yo"...The screwed up interviews was apart of his gimmick that he was so pumped, primed, ready to snap at anytime he can't get his words out right( plus he bloodied Goldberg in the cage...nuff said)...he got tremendous heat and was one of the bright spots in the dying days of WCW. We used to quote his stuff all the time so to me thats not a bad interview by any means. Hell his promos nearly started fan riots ...lol
Ultimate Warrior at the time was part of character driven WWF days so his interviews fit him perfectly and is one of the reasons why he was so over. It sounds crazy nowadays cause noone except maybe the undertake or Abyss goes so deep into his character like that anymore.
Luger was not great but he was far better than alot of others you guys are overlooking.
Iron Sheik was a classic promo interview.
Sid Vicious made up for lack of skills with pure intensity. Batista could learn from that.
Cena is actually pretty good cause he hypes the crowd and that's what a good promo does.
Worst interview? in my opinion ...
Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy..great moves but their pitch and delivery is too uneven. Sounds like they try to hard
Rey Mysterio..he should never open his mouth
Lance Storm...boring
Dean Malenko..see Lance Storm
KoKo B Ware...never knew what he was trying to say
Kerry Von Erich...snorefest
Chyna..talks through her nose
Bob Backlund..sounds like an ESPN interview than a wrestling promo
Marty Jennetty..HBK was the talker of that group by far
BUT THE THE ALLTIME WORST?
Paul Roma....should have NEVER been a horseman!

I have to agree with kateria on this one.....Scott Steiner is awesome! One of the things that still makes wrestling exciting is seeing a guy that goes out there and throws himself into it. Scott has never been one to get his words right....I assume because, despite all the bravado, he's quite shy and quietly spoken......but he goes out there and puts all his heart and soul into it, much like a great method actor. People love to hate him, he's banged up, slow, roided out of his mind, but that's Scott Steiner for you. Even people who never saw him in his prime, know how good he used to be. More than anything the guy is brutally honest, sticks up for his mates and works hard.....making him a top bloke in my book......If I had a wrestling company he would be the first agent i'd sign.....might not have him wrestle so much though.
Waylon mercy anyone? Dan Spivey had that one down to a tee......finally got a gimmick that worked and had to retire injured. The Randy Savage, Vader, Rick Flair, Jake Roberts....Bret Hart somehow got it done. All guys that could get themselves over with words. One guy stands out to me....Damian Demento.....why did we never hear more from the slap headed, angry, jobber when he was wrestling?
John Tenta, Jeff Hardy, Dynamite Kid, British Bulldog, Jeff Jarrett, Matt Morgan.....hell even Rick Rude.....good workers, couldn't promo. Then........Samoa Joe, Khali, El Gigante.....all the sportsmen brought in, Linda Mcmahon.....lets hope they never get the mic again.
Nice to see the Iron Sheik mentioned, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, all the people that are larger than life in wrestling.......we could be here for years.
