Hey all I am back for my first blog of predictions for a WWE PPV. I would like to start off by saying that this will be the second PPV in a row that WWE is leaving a ECW match off the card which shows people how Vince actually feels about the brand. In my opinion, I think Vince feels that it is a televised Developmental place just like FCW without the national TV contract. But anyway on with my predictions.
The Miz (US Champ) vs. John Morrison (IC Champ)
I really do believe this match will be the best match of the night. I believe we should have gotten this match a long time ago when the two men officially split up, but i am not complaining because we are getting this match now. If you are ordering the PPV, this match should give you your money's worth if given the right amount of time. I am going with John Morrison to win just because I think WWE is really pushing him right now to be potentially a main event superstar.
Winner: John Morrison
Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, & Melina vs. Michele McCool, Beth Phoenix, & Mickie James
Honestly I could care less for this match and I would rather see an ECW match than this crap, but I am going to pick the Smackdown divas to win just because they have the better women wrestlers.
Winner: Smackdown Divas
Team Smackdown vs. Team Raw
I could also care less for this match too because of the fact that it has too many wrestlers in it and it seems like it is going to be a big mess of a match. I would have gone with at most a 10 man tag match. So who wins? I say Raw wins because they seem to have more established superstars than Team Smackdown, but then again a Raw guy like Cody Rhodes or Big Show might turn on their team. So who do I go with?
Winner: Team Raw
Undertaker vs Rey Mysterio vs Batista vs CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Title
This can be the second best match on the card if booked correctly. I say this should be booked as a fast paced at least 15 minute match. So who wins? Rey Mysterio is ruled out because WWE is not going to put a World Title on him after his suspension. That leaves Batista, Taker, and Punk. I have heard that their is going to be another Batista vs. Undertaker feud so if that is true either Taker retains or Batista wins. But I really want Punk to win just because I think the title was taken off of him way too early and I want to see Punk have a long run as champion, maybe even going into WrestleMania.
Winner: Undertaker wins and faces Batista at Survivor Series
Randy Orton vs. John Cena for the Twenty something time headlining a PPV together
I really hope this is the last time we see these go at it for at least 2 years. I just hate that this is a Iron Man Match because these two men's style of wrestling is not fit to last a hour. This is more of a match for a technical wrestler like a Kurt Angle or Chris Jericho, but this is going to be the worst iron man match ever. I see this match going like this, they mess around in the ring for the first 20 minutes maybe constantly countering each other. Then Orton and Cena will take turns beating the crap out of each other with weapons for another 20 minutes. It is not actually going to get interesting until the last 5 minutes. So who wins? I want Orton to win just because Cena really wouldn't have anybody to work with as champion because Raw is short on Main Event Heels and who really wants to see the title change hands again between these guys.
Winner: John Cena because to Vince, John Cena is Monday Night Raw and doesn't want it either other way.
