Or...in order to eliminate all pathetic ads completely, give Microsoft the finger and download Firefox with Ad Blocker Plus!! I almost quit coming to this site because of the overwhelming number of ads and gay pop-up ads that took up the whole screen, but another member told me about Firefox and ABP, and it worked like a charm. It eliminates every single ad on this site.

I was also having a problem with Chrome. The news/spoiler section that should be on the left side of the screen was overlapping the sections on the right side, but now it's been fixed.
I'm also glad to see those pics at the stop of the Featured Articles Section gone. Most of the time it was just the pic of Cena holding the WWE title repeated like 4 times...and the news didn't even mention Cena lol. It was pointless to have those pics there.
You could also add a "Featured Blogs" section, where the best posted blogs can appear in front page. That could motivate people to blog more.

cool idea Flaming, making a feature on the main page would invite guys to blog more... maybe even a 'blog of the month award' too?

yeah those pics never made sense... and when they did make sense the pictures were so outdated! the story would be about triple h and they would show his high school yearbook picture

How would we determine what a featured blog should be? By the posts it gets? How long should it stay featured. I'd like to automate it if possible.

Post count simply wouldn't work... for me at least! Some blogs that are 3 paragraphs long could get more posts than a 1 hour solid piece of writing. It should be blog quality! Maybe the moderators should be given that task... to judge the blogs?

A blog rating system could help, but since moderators don't have much to do here (really, I get so bored sometimes lol) I say let the moderators choose.
If you let the users choose by somekind of blog rating system, there won't be any guarantee that the blogs are being rated for their quality. There won't be a way to tell why people gave it high marks. Whether they are doing it to screw with the site (Ex. just to have some dirty word in the front page) or they are just the same person rating his own blog multiple times with different accounts.

And you're credible enough to rate the blogs? Good one. The site barely has five people posting on it, so you don't have to worry about shady ratings.

OMG!! I've never thought of that... Polly Pocket...lolololl who was the genius? I'd like to send him/her an award!! I wonder if WG thought of that at any point.
Can I be trusted to read blogs and rate them for their quality?...yeah, I'm pretty sure I can handle that. It's not like the world's gonna blow. Also, that's why there's more than one moderator. Although the other one is MIA, is only a matter of time before Mark chooses another member to be Moderator...may I suggest Polly Pocket?
And yes, there are few people posting on the site right now, but that doesn't mean more people won't join in the near future.

Yeah, but I was referring to aj1669, he's supposed to be a Moderator too. I had not idea Hill was still a Moderator, I thought he had been replaced. There's another member (who I assume is a woman) who was also a Moderator and disappeared too. It may be that they were branded Moderators by mistake, because, to my knowledge, the only 2 officially assigned moderators are Hill and me.

OK.... We added the featured blog.. Admins can now select the featured blog.. We also dialed back some more ads as well. Also the iPhone app is under construction.
