Sorry to see you go, Linda...but I can't say I blame you. I haven't had one single good thing to say about WWE, ECW, TNA, or anything else televised lately. It's all the same old, same old childish garbage. No new stars are being built, no new feuds are being pushed. It's all recycled garbage. Good luck, and we'll miss ya.

you always had great columns linda... but you're right, its not exciting to talk about wrestling anymore. It seems like there is nothing positive to talk about. I've always been a fan and saw how people on this site would bash your columns because you slurp triple h... but seriously, what else is there to like except your favorite wrestler. and its even harder to enjoy your favorite wrestler when they constantly do the same things! You'll be missed but you won't miss much. A year from now you'll see the same main eventers and the same feuds.

I've been reading this site for 7 years and posting for 6. Linda's departure has significance about the state of wrestling and this site. Of course the wrestling isn't the same but this truly marks the end of an era of Impact Wrestling. Linda was the last trace the original Impact Wrestling. Though I sometimes didn't agree with you, your columns were always a good read. Only someone who has been reading them for years can appreciate it. What I liked about Linda is that she didn't post here but she still felt relateable and part of the Impact Wrestling community. She wasn't like some columnists who post their column and leave it alone. Like Injustice said, there's not much to do but be a mark for your favorite. But I enjoyed getting on Linda for her markness. Then there were those post Wrestlemania columns with Lee Vox. It's just a shame you didn't get to do a Behind the Computer interview. It's sad to see her go, but it's time. Good luck Linda. Officially, Impact Wrestling leave behind an era.

Wow, didn't see that coming. Specially since Linda had AT LEAST some good stuff to say about Raw (mostly everything that involved Triple H and DX) and Smackdown.Well, I've been on this site since 2005, I've read her columns since 06, so it's sad to see her go, but can't say I blame her. It's hard to write a consistently good column about something you barely enjoy. What's the point on writing a column about wrestling if it only consists on the things you didn't like? Specially since the standards by which one measures the "good" stuff has been lowered a hundred levels compared to the standards during the Attitude Era.
I myself have tried to write at least a blog about how Raw was, but something always comes up. Nowadays, there is ALWAYS something better to do on Mondays than watching Raw. It's weird because I ALWAYS used to look forward to it. I used to hate Mondays, but when I started watching Raw on a weekly basis, Mondays didn't seem so bad anymore. But that feeling has now slowly faded away, specially since the last WrestleMania.
Anyways, I expect to see at least ONE blog from Linda when the WrestleMania season kicks in, but that's assuming that things will get interesting by then...

Turned off WWE programming since a little bit after Wrestlemania after that whole Big Show throwing Cena into the spotlight only to have him comeback the following week while HHH gets kicked in the head is out for months...WWE thinks fans are kids or stupid i guess. Haven't gone back either and I won't unless things change. Sorry to cya go Linda. I guess if you love your wrestler too much nowadays you get smashed on. These are todays fans and this is todays sport. Fans think they know so much and know so little. The air of excitement is gone because fans don't wanna suspend belief anymore with the sport...so Vince decided quit trying and to make money. Its smarks, stupid internet rumors and worrying about who's put who over or who's get a push is why this sport is a shadow of its former self. Thats why I understand Linda, Lee Vox and the others who have stopped caring. You can't surprise people with storylines if people already know or think they know what it is. Like knowing what your getting for christmas before its even bought. So to all you new fans who's been watching since the Cena era was born, have fun! I'd rather watch paint try than watch the garbage that professional wrestling is now. Here's to the changing of the guard.......Bye Linda thanks for the memories.
A true old-school wrestling fan
P.S. Wrestlings dead......happy now?

"moan moan fu##in' moan!" -Chopper Reed
I am going to one thing that nobody else has done yet.... and be honest... It's what I do best!
Linda's Thoughts used to be a good read a few years back... even when she was writing about Cena's reign of doom she managed to put out a good string of words, and I like many looked forward to her column. Her predictions were often accurate and I used to email back and fourth.... then something happened.... don't know what it was, weather its the PG rating or whatever but her work has been on the decline for a long time.... I can't remember the last time I read a column that I really enjoyed and complimented on.... maybe it was as long as a year ago?
She went through a rough patch with tragedy in her family and I remember certain Trolls slating her... and I rallied for them to be kicked off the site for the slurs! I always made an effort to stick up for her with an e-mail or two. And I was suprised that she continued the column after all the family pain and housing issues that she had... so I'm not suprised that she's calling it a day.... more that it took her this long!
I admired that she admitted how her work has faded... she's not in love with the sport anymore and she's saying goodbye.. I wish her all the best, but I won't miss the shocking work that she's been putting out recently, which hasn't been on time for a while.... but she admitted that too. So all the best chuck! Maybe a comeback is on the horizon?
Now to address the moaning bi###es.... who've spat the dummy out!
There is too much moaning about how the current product of WWE and TNA sucks... Guys get over it! I know how bad it is right now! Pro wrestling is at it's weakest point ever right now... it hasn't been in such a bad state, as there are too many shortcuts taken and booking is being replaced by gimmick matches/PPVs.
BUT as a lifelong fan, I will continue and always will watch Raw, Smackdown, ECW and iMPACT until I'm old and bald, a 4th generation of Orton is headlining and Triple H is Cheif Exec. of WWE..... that is what a lifelong fan will do! Sure it sucks at times but you gotta watch it to see if or when it's gonna improve. I cannot stand..... no I dispise these guys (who know who they are) who read through the spoilers each week and judge the show on what some reporter writes. Others who blame spoilers, why read them if they piss you off so much? Do what I do and ignore them for a few days, then watch Smackdown on Friday and then you don't what what you've already got for Christmas....
Sure we can all slag off the current PG rating, and I do it as much as everybody, but don't comment on what you havn't seen.... nor call yourselves lifelong fans if you are switching off!
Wrestling is in a constant state of evolution... the 80's were colourful.... the 90's had Attitude... then Vince bought WCW.... then everyone retired.... and then Vince went PG... the REAL lifelong fans will stick around for the next period.....
At this stage of this post, I expect some of you to have your eyebrows raised like a flag on July 4th but hey... I warned you at the start... I'm an honest guy!

Well, I'll speak for myself here and say I'll never stop watching WWE. I might not catch every Raw, ECW or Smackdown, but I'll always keep in touch, and I'll always take a peak and who knows if someday one of those peaks grabs a hold of me and doesn't let go. Maybe that'll be the day when WWE programming regains its...whatever it is that kept me watching in the past. But who knows if that day will ever come.
However, I wanna clear a confusion some people seem to be having here. Just because you're not watching WWE doesn't mean you've gave up wrestling. WWE is not wrestling, it is just a tiny part of it. I watch ROH and other organizations where I live, I don't plan on stop watching wrestling, I just plan on finding something I enjoy to replace something I don't enjoy as much anymore, you know, trying to make the most out of my free time, and not resign myself to watch a crappy Raw for 2 hours. Just TIVO the show and skip the crap and get to the good stuff...which is, at best, 30 minutes.
So, there are more important things out there to whine and bi### about, causes people will actually benefit for. With things like this, one can only sit and wait until the currents change and WWE resumes its course on the right track.

I just have t agree with POCKET on this one
I have been reading Linda's Thoughts. for god 7 years now and I have loved and admired her work. Yes it is sad to see an Impact-wrestling era die.It is hard to write about a passion that was once loved but now is just disappointing. But with what pocket said wrestling is always going to have it's ups and down like a marriage. It mite sound stupid but hear me out. There are good times and bad
If you reallly are a true fan you will keep watching the WWE until the product improves or whatever. What I'm trying to say is if you really are a fan, you will support the WWE and TNA in a rough patch of pro-wrestling. WWE won't be PG-13 forever. I can guarantee you that I willl be sitting next to pocket watch raw, smack-down and ecw in the next 80 years.
I am a true fan, true fans don't just quit on a company because they have a rough stage.

" I'm gonna watch WWE till the day I die no matter how it is"
Give me a break.
So when the Detroit Lions go 0-16 in a season you expect the fans to stay loyal and watch it anyway cause your a true fan?
Maybe the reason I I'm not watching it because ITS NOT PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING BUT A ENTERTAINMENT SHOW WITH WRESTLERS IN IT. Because people don't wanna watch it anymore don't make them no less a fan. Last time I check it was the fans that dictate what we see, or use to be. Since you guys watch anyhow you justify that's its ok to watch the "WWE Entertainment Show" instead of what it should be and that professional wrestling. Change the show to a G rating so Linda can get her Senate seat and I 'm suppose to cheer it on, right?
I don't see how anyone can be a fan of that...
